How to use it
Paste text, choose cleanup options and press Clean text. Blank lines mark paragraph boundaries when Preserve paragraphs is on. Enable hyphen joining only if words were split by the source layout. Copy the result or choose a filename and download it.
Useful example
If a copied sentence puts “The project” on one line and “starts tomorrow.” on the next, the result is “The project starts tomorrow.” A blank line between paragraphs remains when paragraph preservation is enabled.
Tips
This tool processes pasted plain text, not PDF documents. It does not perform OCR, recover lost tables or infer missing paragraph breaks. Undo restores the previous cleaned result, and the original remains unchanged. Keep a copy of important source text.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upload a scanned PDF?
No. Paste text you can already select and copy. A scanned image needs a separate OCR process first.
Will it always preserve paragraphs?
It preserves paragraphs marked by blank lines. If the copied text has no blank-line separators, it cannot reliably guess where a paragraph should end.
Can I undo hyphen joining?
Yes. Your original is never changed. Turn off hyphen joining and clean again, or use Undo cleanup to restore the previous result. Up to 10 recent results are kept in this tab.
Is my text saved automatically?
No. It stays in tab memory, is not uploaded or sent to analytics, and is lost when you reload or close the page. Copy or download what you need.
