How many feet are in a meter?
1 meter = 3.2808399 feet, or about 3 feet 3.37 inches. To convert meters to feet, multiply by 3.2808; to convert feet to meters, multiply by 0.3048.
How many kilometers are in a mile?

What is a gaj?

Is the meter spelled meter or metre?
Both are correct. Meter is the US spelling and metre the British one, and mtr is a common abbreviation in India. They are the same unit.
